
Internship Opportunities
Instructional Design/Facilitating/Teaching Internship
(Remote - Based in Eastern Time Zone)
All internships require a 12 month commitment. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
We are seeking highly-motivated, initiative-taking volunteer interns with the following qualifications and skills:

Organizational skills and strong attention to detail

Ability to work with people of various ages and backgrounds

Ability to work independently and see projects through to successful completion

Ability to work well in a small, collaborative team environment

Intercultural competence in diverse, international settings

Virtual facilitation or teaching (preferred)

Bilingual (preferred)
Internship projects may include:
-
Teaching concepts and facilitating discussions and activities related to global public health, human rights, global competence, equity, diversity, inclusion, and social impact

Developing and presenting educational materials

Grading assignments, providing written feedback to students in a timely fashion

Assisting with consulting engagements, workshops, courses, and other capacity-strengthening services
Important Notes

This internship is a volunteer, unpaid engagement. Interns gain valuable professional skills and experience, mentoring, and global networks, as well as course credit if needed.

Anticipate a range of 10-15 hours of work per week, including some weekend hours; hours are variable and depend on current and upcoming projects.

Work location is flexible. The firm and its schedule operate out of Durham, NC, USA in the Eastern time zone.
