General Internship
(Remote - Based in Eastern Time Zone)
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
All internships require a twelve-month commitment with the opportunity for extension.
We are seeking a creative, initiative-taking interns to help our firm operate effectively and reach our intended audiences and impact goals.
Internship projects may include:

Conducting research and literature reviews

Developing educational and training materials, including agendas, presentations, and activities

Facilitating sessions related to global public health, human rights, global competence, equity, diversity, inclusion, and social impact

Assisting with other projects, including: consulting engagements, workshops, courses, and other offerings

Researching and drafting blogs and articles on various topics, including: global public health, human rights, global competence, equity, diversity, inclusion, social impact, and related topics

Other projects and tasks to be determined
Skills and Qualifications:

Proven success in a fast-paced, independent work environment

Organizational skills and capacity for effectively managing multiple tasks

Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence

Ability to work with people of various ages and backgrounds

Ability to work proactively and independently and see projects through to successful completion

Ability to work well individually and in a small, collaborative team environment

Intercultural competence in diverse, international settings

Exceptional oral and written communication skills and presentation ability

Terms:

This internship requires a 12-month commitment. It pays a $3,000 base stipend which is paid out on a quarterly basis. We offer profit sharing for income-generating projects. Profit-sharing payment is paid out upon completion of project deliverables.

Interns gain valuable professional development, skills, and experience, mentoring, and networking.

You can anticipate a range of 5-15 hours of work per week, including some evenings and weekends; hours are variable, somewhat flexible, and dependent on current and upcoming projects.

Your work location is flexible but you must live in the USA. The firm and its project schedule operate out of Durham, NC, USA in the Eastern time zone.

Interns provide their own computer and other supplies and equipment needed to complete project deliverables.
